The way back: Uetsu line between Shirohama and Michikawa, Akita.

The Uetsu line sparkles. It's no wonder that its has a special service called the Kira Kira Uetsu.  I haven't been down the line in such clear weather.  A highly recommended local line trip. It's on the route that goes between Akita city and Sakata.
