Hachimantai national park: Mt Hachimantai

We drove to the top of the mountain ( you can walk higher but as high as the road goes) to the border of Akita and Iwate. On a clear day you can see to Mt Chokkai at the southern end of Akita; it was not a clear day. We couldn't see more than a couple of 100m. That said though, the fog itself was impressive.
