Kunimi service centre

At the Kunimi service centre along the Tohoku expressway (where we watched the news of the floods in Akita) I was surprised to see Fukushima deep mountain mushrooms being sold... Mushrooms, for some reason absorb radiation at extremely high rates. I have very low anxiety about radiation but even if I liked mushrooms in brine I wouldn't be buying them...

Peaches: The peaches were all gift quality - big and perfect. When I grew up eating delicious, but not super-sized, flawlessly and regularly firmed peaches I can't bring myself to buy them.

Namie machi yakisoba- no one was buying.
