    Drat. I was hoping to squeeze a last sakura sanpo in tomorrow morning, when I hope it will be sunny again.

    Ah well.

    I was going to say that just up the hill there are plenty of late blooming sakura at Asukayama. Then I woke up to the rain this morning... Sigh.

    I think there is scope for a blog post on where to locate late blooming sakura in Tokyo.

    Thanks Michelle. The Japanese appreciation of the ephemeral & transient seems to reach its zenith with the end of the sakura... it rubs off eventually.
